In the earliest stages of the commercial web there were virtual malls exploding all over your crappy browser. These brilliant leaps forward in technology allowed people to click around poorly jpegged storefronts for all of their casual clothing needs instead of typing in pesky urls or, god forbid, typipng a retailer into a search engine. It was just like the horrid experience of going to a real mall, except you were in your underwear and it was somehow infinitely shittier. Thank god that lunacy is behind us. We’ve moved on. Oh, wait - Yoowalk hasn’t. Who needs virtual retail malls when you can have: the whole goddam internet as a mall. Brilliant.
